New Contract – 13000 dwt ECO Bulk/General Cargo Carrier for Berge Rederi Future AS
Berge Rederi Future AS have confirmed the 2nd 13000 dwt ECO design newbuildings at Jiangsu Sho Heavy Marine Co. Ltd. to MDC design.
The vessel will be arranged with a battery plant and hybrid propulsion with electric powering and zero emissions.
The ships will also be fitted with two rotorsails further reducing emissions. Cargo operations will be powered electrically and emission free.
The vessel efficiency, solutions, utilization and overall performance results in a highly efficient and low consumption vessel and with excellent EEDI/EEXI and CII ratings.
The newbuildings will be hull nod SH010 at Soho HMI Co. Ltd.
The design has been developed in close cooperation between Berge Rederi AS and MDC
