The vessels will be highly efficient stainless steel, ice-classed chemical tankers and includes innovative and sustainable low emission solutions. The vessel will be arranged with a large battery plant and electric propulsion with flexible and multiple fuelling solutions.
The vessel efficiency, solutions, utilization and overall performance results in highly efficient ships with low consumption and emissions which includes:
- Low resistance hull form with increased propulsive efficiency and excellent ship handling and maneuvering performance for coastal operations
- Powering systems prepared for future fuels as Ammonia/Methanol/LNG
- Twin electric powered, low revolution controllable pitch propellers with full redundancy and high propulsive efficiency.
- High effective green shore power, electric energy storage system and smart energy management systems, securing a very high total energy efficiency and thereby reduced emissions.
- Safe operations for crew, safe navigation in coastal waters and full redundance on all critical equipment
